Lying
within and adjacent to Mission Bay, the
Polson Bay Golf Club
features a spectacularly diverse 27-hole course, making some
of the finest golf in Montana accessible, convenient and
thoroughly enjoyable.
As the only golf course that winds along the shores of
Flathead Lake, the 18-hole championship configuration is a
par 72 that's slightly over 7,000 yards. The entire layout
offers three distinct varieties of play: classic 1930's
style, traditional links design, plus contemporary
challenges that take full advantage of Mission Bay's
elevation changes as well as the equally scenic and perilous
water features.
The golf course also provides spectacular views ranging from
the magnificent expanse of Flathead Lake to the Swan and
Mission Mountains, all the way to the Big Mountain Ski &
Summer Resort.
Thanks
to Polson's mild weather, the course is usually open up to
10 months a year.
There are also more than
10 golf courses within an hour's
drive of Mission Bay, seven of which are among Golf Digest's
Top 10 in Montana. The impressive variety and quality of
golf offered by these courses make the Flathead Valley a
true golfer's paradise.
